Eargo Link

The Eargo Link is the only Eargo model to feature Bluetooth streaming for music and calls. Additionally, unlike other models which fit completely in one’s ear, the Eargo Link resembles a pair of earbuds. That said, much like other Eargo devices, you can still use your smartphone to adjust the settings on the Eargo Link.

Eargo SE

The Eargo SE is a premium hearing aid model that features superb sound quality that amplifies speech while drowning out background noise. This model even features advanced wind reduction, making it great for outdoor use. It also comes with a one-year warranty, lifetime support, and rapid charging in just 30 minutes.

The main drawback of the Eargo SE is that its smartphone app cannot be used to perform Sound Match screenings (more on this below). Rather, this app is primarily for toggling between hearing environments and adjusting treble and bass levels.

Eargo 6

One step up from the Eargo SE is the Eargo 6. It improves upon the SE by adding Sound Match technology and inductive charging. Sound Match allows you to receive a more personalized hearing experience using a custom hearing profile for each ear. Through the Eargo app, you take a brief hearing screening; the results will be used to automatically adjust the settings on your hearing aids. The Eargo 6 is also rated IPX7 in terms of water-resistance, and it comes with a one-year warranty.

The Eargo 6 currently costs $1,990 for a pair.

Eargo 7

Eargo’s latest model, the Eargo 7, has all of the features of the Eargo 6; however, it builds upon this successful formula in two key ways. First, with Sound Adjust+, these hearing aids will not only automatically toggle between environments, but they’ll also fine-tune the settings to your particular soundscape. In our experience, this meant we hardly needed to adjust our settings — the Eargo 7 automatically did it for us. Second, the Eargo 7 is both water- and sweat-resistant.

The Eargo 7 currently costs $2,390 for a pair, and it comes with a two-year warranty.

Eargo offers a one-year warranty on its Eargo Link, Eargo SE, and Eargo 6 models. There’s a two-year warranty on the Eargo 7. The warranties cover manufacturer defects, accidental damage, and even loss of the hearing aids or charging case. With Eargo's hearing aids being so small and, therefore, easy to misplace, we appreciate that there is coverage for loss. The one downside would be the $295 deductible for each lost device; however, considering other hearing aid brands don’t cover loss at all, we think this warranty policy is still favorable.

If you’re looking for a pair of invisible hearing aids, then Eargo is one of the few over-the-counter options. The devices lack the ability to stream audio directly from a smartphone.
